Jaspal nangla

Director of Creative Strategy

Jaspal Nangla is a multi-award-winning filmmaker, co-founder of Two Sides Studios, and one of the most vital creative voices in Luton today, but to X-4RCE, he’s much more than that. Since first crossing paths with Wade in October 2023 to film The Tipping Point, Jaspal has become not only a core part of the X-4RCE team, but a beloved friend and unofficial member of the family (just ask Wade’s youngest daughter, who’s completely obsessed with him).

In less than a year, Jaspal’s fingerprints have been on nearly every piece of X-4RCE creative, from striking social media visuals and moving documentaries, to behind-the-scenes magic at Luton Comic Con. He’s also the creative force behind Luton’s first ever homegrown comic book and continues to use his platforms, including Two Sides Studios and The Orange Picture Club, to amplify stories that matter.

But Jaspal’s impact goes far beyond the camera. Through 1:1 support and group workshops, he helps our service users unlock their own creativity, guiding them in storytelling, creative writing, filmmaking, and visual expression. Whether someone’s trying to find their voice or turn their lived experience into something powerful, Jaspal is there with encouragement, practical tools, and a belief in what they have to say.

Jaspal brings energy, empathy, and a razor-sharp eye to everything he does, using film and media not just to tell stories, but to shift perspectives. His passion for men’s mental health, combined with his personal drive to raise autism awareness, makes him a powerful and purposeful voice on the X-4RCE board.

He’s also the kind of guy who can make a serious message hit hard, and then have you in stitches two seconds later. On camera or off, Jaspal brings the fun, the focus, and a whole lot of heart.

    Small grants fund

One of the aims of X-4RCE is to get men out in their community supporting one another, their friends, and their families. The Small Grants Fund has ensured that for the next year we can put on workshops, host guest speakers, and provide training to our services users. Thank you Luton Rising for making this possible.
